To prevent these diseases, ensure proper air circulation around the plant, avoid overhead watering, and promptly remove any infected leaves. Use sulphur based fungicides to control powdery mildew.
9. Important Pests- Common pests that can affect the plant include aphids, scales, and mealybugs. Regularly inspect the plant for signs of pest infestation and take appropriate pest control measures, such as using insecticidal soap or neem oil.
10. Pruning- Prune the plant lightly after flowering to maintain the desired shape and remove any dead or diseased branches. Avoid heavy pruning as it may reduce the flowering potential for the following season.
11. Propagation- Swarna Champa can be propagated through seeds or stem cuttings. Seeds should be sown in well-drained soil and it will take 7 days to more than a month to germinate. Stem cuttings can be taken from healthy, mature branches and rooted in a suitable rooting medium.
